Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be a child and see things that people would blame on a mental illness? What about having a child that sees and hears these things? It's hard enough being young, but to have these abilities could be even harder. Depending on how you look at it, it could be a gift or a curse and I certainly wouldn't want this for any of my children. Val has seen things and talked to people that have passed on. Being the tender age of 13, Val's gift/curse matures and she comes into a stronger power than she had before.
This book shows how strong the power of love is, when two people have been ripped apart and brought back together. But, the power of love is even stronger when your child is danger. Sacrifices are made, lives are lost, but your child's safety is all that matters. Alex and Micah prove this time and time again.
