First off, I don't normally read this genre, because let's face it, I am a big fraidy cat! Despite the genre, I greatly enjoyed this book. Although, the chicken in me WILL NOT be reading this book again! From the superstition following Blaire and her hometown to the children to the basement, this book was extremely creepy. Every corner, every twist and every turn had me sitting on the edge of my seat, one hand covering my eyes as I peeked through my fingers ready to...I would say hide under my bed, but this book had me afraid of what may be waiting for me under there! My was racing throughout most if the read and I had goose bumps from the creepy chills running through my body.
Needless to say, if you like horror, which I do not, I highly recommend this book. It was so very descriptive, I literally felt like I was part of the book. Kudos to Miss Rivers on a fabulous horror novel!
